You do not need to log in to make a hotel reservation. Once you reserved your hotel, you will receive an email with login details.
 
How do I receive my confirmation?
You will receive a confirmation of your reservation in a seperate email once you have completed the entire booking process by submitting at the end.

I want to reserve nights that are indicated as 'n/a' in the overview / The system tells me 'no rooms available' when I make my reservation. What do I do?
If you see “n/a” in the availability overview this means that rooms for this specific night are not available (anymore).
If you get the message “the rooms are not available for the selected period”, this indicates that you try to book for nights that are not included in the room block.

How do I know if there is more than one room available?
If you open the Event & Hotel info page you can find the list of available hotels. Then click on the hotel of your choice and you will find the availability at the bottom of the page.
 
What policies are applicable?
On the hotel page the room rates, rate inclusions and cancellation policy is mentioned. Before you submit your reservation you need to agree with the policies of the reservation. All reservations for this event are non-refundable and non-changeable.
 
What if I have a special request like an early arrival or a twin bed?
When making your reservation you have the possibility to enter special requests in the remark field or you can contact us directly. If you want to have a guaranteed early arrival at the hotel, you need to book the night prior to your arrival as well.
 
Can I make multiple reservations at once?
Yes, you can reserve up until 9 rooms at once, with the same credit card. If you need to pay for the reservations with individual credit cards, you have to reserve each room one by one. 
 
The hotel of my choice is not available. What can I do?

How can I make changes to my reservation?
All reservations for this event are non-refundable and non-changeable. In case you are not able to arrive at the hotel for any reason it is highly appreciated to cancel your booking.

Can I book an additional room?
If you want to book an extra room you need to make a new reservation with the guests’ own details. It is not possible to change your existing booking.
 
Why do you need my credit card details and is it safe to enter the details online?
It is completely safe to enter your details online. Our website is Verisign secured and uses SSL encryption. The credit card details are required to guarantee and pay your reservation. Your credit card will be used to charge the entire reservation value; in case of cancellation or no show no refund will apply.

How do I pay for the room(s)?
Payment has to be made directly at time of booking. The credit card you provided in the reservation will be charged for the entire reservation value. In case of no show or cancellation no refund will apply. Upon check out you can ask the hotel directly to request a copy of the invoice.
 
I made a reservation, but did not receive a confirmation. What do I do?
Normally you receive a confirmation by email within 15 minutes after you made your reservation online. If you did not receive a confirmation, please check your spam folder. If the confirmation is not in your inbox or spam folder, there is a chance you did not complete your reservation correctly. Please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., you will then receive a reply from us on the next regular work day. Our office hours are weekdays from 9 am until 5.30 pm (CET Time). During the weekend and holidays the office is closed and your email will not be read.
 
How do I get from the hotel to the event?
The city of Rotterdam will provide tickets for Public Transport from outside Rotterdam to the ESC venue’s in the city, including Ahoy. 
 
I want to book my preferred hotel for one night but it says there is a minimum length of stay required. What should I do?
Some hotels choose to have a minimum stay on the rooms. In this case you have to book this minimum number of nights even if you do not stay in the hotel during all nights. To have the correct check in and check out date we request you to add this information in the booking, in the field actual arrival day and actual departure day.
